Most coupon apps are a landfill: thousands of offers, half expired, most for places you will never go. Finding a usable one takes longer than the deal is worth, so nobody looks.
Zilk is the opposite bet. A small number of real deals from restaurants you can walk to, each one clear about what it is and when you can use it.
A restaurant does not want "more coupons". It wants a first-time customer, or a regular who comes back, or a Tuesday afternoon that is not empty. Each of the three deal types answers exactly one of those, so the offer you see was built for a reason.
A once-ever deal is once-ever, checked on our side rather than on your phone. That sounds like a restriction on you; it is what lets a restaurant offer something genuinely good instead of ten percent off.
Zilk opens a town properly before it opens the next one. Every restaurant in it is somewhere you could drive to this afternoon. A national list of places you cannot reach is the thing we are trying not to build.
No printing, no codes to read out, no asking whether they take this app. You slide to redeem and show the screen. It takes a second and the person serving you does not have to learn anything.
